Lovely dinner with Jerome and Charissa tonight. After meeting and knowing so many people in Seattle, Jerome is surprisingly one of the people I can be comfortable with, and I'm so glad we got to meet him in this super short break he's taking. Of course the Seattle memories are there, but they are the good ones - Jerome's vacuum cleaner, tangyuan day, baseball with both of them, the Seattle zoo.. we did have fun times with him. =)
Working for Halina makes me want to improve my design skills, and makes me super gian to learn Flash and HTML5. Though I cannot draw for nuts and my eye for colours are crazy pathetic somehow I like working with text and patterns, and I think having the ability to programme in Flash and playing with Dreamweaver might prove to be useful someday. I shall think about doing tt after graduation. Haven't been practising sign language, but I better keep up if I'm going to make something out of it.
But it's so tiring to be sitting 4, 5 hours a day just staring at the computer screen. Design can be frustrating, but I guess it can be rewarding I knew how to manipulate Photoshop a little better.

I have a note in my moleskine I wrote to myself. Among my TO REMEMBER list, it says, 'and finally, to remember never to lose yourself, not for this, not a time most crucial, especially for something you might have lost a long time ago.' I think I need to give that to you too, cause it helps me remember that you have to take care of yourself first before you can even think of taking care of others.velda.
